all significant news items affecting the Society.

the website pages.
The Performance Test page provides a means of quantifying
the website's responsiveness.
The Accessibility page provides some general advice about
user settings in Windows or Apple Macintosh environments, and on the use of quick access keys.
The Acknowledgements page acknowledges the original
work undertaken to set up the website, and some individuals and organisations who have helped
make the site what it is today.
It is with some pride that we record that this website was awarded a Highly Commended rating
in the 2009 Federation of Family History Societies Best Website Award.
