DNA Testing

Using DNA test kits as a family research tool is much talked about, and it is hard to know if it is likely to help one's own family research. There is always a cost involved. The Family History Federation (FHF), with whom we are affiliated, made a serious study of DNA testing in 2018, and produced a most informative report at the end of the year. If you are wondering whether to use one of these tools it is highly recommended that you take a look at their report.

Our next meeting is on Thursday 16th October 2025. The focus of the meeting will be a talk by Phil Isherwood on 'Whatever Happened to Aunt Gonda?' Phil will be speaking on Zoom. Members may be remote or at St. John's.
