DNA Testing

Using DNA test kits as a family research tool is much talked about, and it is hard to know if it is likely to help one's own family research. There is always a cost involved. The Federation of Family History Societies (FFHS), with whom we are affiliated, made a serious study of DNA testing in 2018, and produced a most informative report at the end of the year. If you are wondering whether to use one of these tools it is highly recommended that you take a look at their report.

Society news

Next Meeting

Our next meeting will be held on Thursday 18th July 2019 at St. John's Centre, Isleworth. Doors open at 7.15 pm. We entertain ourselves. The aim is to find out more from each other how we actually record our family history, by a bit of interrogation. Please come ready to share how you do it.

The next fair we will be attending is Buckinghamshire Family History Society Open Day in Aylesbury on Saturday 27th July.
