Parish Histories Project

Cover of Volume 1: Hampton

In 2004 members of the Society suggested that we should be able to produce useful histories for each of the 36 parishes that make up our area. The project started well with histories being produced for Hampton in 2004, Harlington, Harmondsworth and Stanwell in 2005, and Hayes in 2006, but then the project stalled. As of 2022 the we only have booklets on the shelf for Hampton and Hayes, and these should be reviewed for their relevance today.

The plan as of 2022 is to develop quite short PDF documents for Hampton and Hayes, which we could give away as may be appropriate at fairs etc. We are therefore looking for a volunteer to undertake this task. If you can help please email the
