Acknowledgements

Thanks and acknowledgements are due to all those who have, in one way or another, contributed to the development of this website. Among the notable contributions are those of:

  • David Childs: Founding webmaster for West Middlesex Family History Society from 1997 to 2006, for taking the Society on to the web in the first place - and for all his work over the years that has made my (ie Richard Chapman who took over) task so much easier. Richard handed over webmaster to Roland Bostock, the current webmaster in January 2015;
  • The Chairman and members of the Executive Committee of the West Middlesex FHS (2007-2009) for their support with regard to the redevelopment of this site and for their many valuable suggestions;

  • Pam and Brian Smith: For their critical review of the entire site during its development in 2008;
  • Federation of Family History Societies: For permission to use the FFHS logo image on the Federation page;
  • Ryan Thrash: For his excellent CSS method to implement the rounded-corner boxes as used on this site;
