This page is the entry point to various facilities we provide to our members. Most of the detailed information is protected by the Members Password, changed each quarter, and as provided in our Journal. The password, once entered correctly, is stored as a cookie, so you will not be required to enter it more than once. Some pages, such as the list of members and general searches on a surname, are available without requiring the password to be entered.

• Our Members. See who else is a member. Feel free to email those members who have provided their email addresses.
• The Notice Board page provides current information on events run by other organisations, eg the FHF. Any member can request that something be posted here.
• Data Searches. This page is the entry point to searching our various online databases.
• Access to Exchange Journals. This page provides access to the Journals of societies with whom we have a Journal Exchange Programme running.
• Digital Library. This page provides access to those items in the library for which we have digital copy.
• Members' Lookup. This page provides a list of our members who have volunteered to do specific family history lookups for other members.
• Executive Committee minutes. At the Executive Committee Meeting on 5th May 2016 in the spirit of open governance it was agreed that all future minutes of the committee should be posted on our website in the Members Area.
• Member discounts. In May 2016 the Society signed a new agreement with the Federation Family History Societies (FFHS) relating to submitting data to Find My Past. As part of the deal with Find My Past they will provide the Society with promotion codes which can be used when taking out a subscription with Find My Past. This page shows the current promotions which are available to members.
• Reference point for forms, leaflets and documents. This page is a reference point for the various forms and leaflets that we use, particularly at Family History Fairs. It also provides access to some important Society documents.
• Subscription Renewals. This page provides the necessary information, also inserted to our December Journal, for your subscription renewal.
• Helpful Documents. This page gives access to some documents, restricted to members' viewing, which should prove helpful in carrying out family history research.
• Recordings of Talks. This page gives access to some recordings of talks, restricted to members' viewing, for which we are acting as an archive.
• Our Last Accounts. This page provides access to the last set of approved accounts for the Society.
• Data Privacy and other Policies. This page provides links to the Society's Data Privacy Policy, Safeguarding Policy, Complaints Guidelines and Register of Conflicts of Interest.
• On Joining the Committee. This page invites you to consider joining the Executive Committee. Information is made available by a document link.
• The Society Archive. This page provides a summary of the items held by Yvonne Masson on behalf of the Society as Society archivist.
• Executive Committee Area. This page is password protected for access to Executive Committee members only. We use this area as a filing place for documents relevant to running the Society.

For the period from 28th September 2016 to 4th January 2017 a photo archive was also accessible as part of the Members Area, but it was decided at the Executive Committee meeting on 4th January 2017 that there was a small exposure to copyright infringement by making the photos available in this way, so access to the photos has now been withdrawn.
