Poor Law Records Content

The survival of Poor Law records for the West Middlesex area is very patchy. For most of our parishes none survive at all up to 1834. The great majority of the content listed below has been digitised from typed documents made by society members long ago, in the 1980s. This work is complete. There remain a similar number of Poor Law records which require visits to the London Metropolitan Archives, or other local archive, for these records also to be digitised.
